Vanair® Underdeck Power Systems available for Chevrolet® Silverado® HD and International CV series

MICHIGAN CITY, IN — Vanair released their new PTO Underdeck Power Systems specifically designed for the Chevrolet® Silverado® 4500, 5500, 6500 HD chassis, and the International® CV series.

These systems can provide up to 185 cfm of air power and 9.6kW of AC power. Multi-drive systems are also available for the Chevrolet and International series, including the patented Genair® air compressor/ generator, V2™ rotary screw air compressor/hydraulic, and the V3™ rotary screw air compressor/generator/hydraulic system.

Vanair’s truck-mounted underdeck air compressors are capable of supplying from 60-1500 cfm of air at a fraction of the cost of towable units. The systems dramatically lower engine speeds over underhood compressors, reducing wear-and-tear on the vehicle’s engine and fuel costs. PTO-driven underdecks increase mobility through job sites and traffic, require only one tier 4 engine to maintain and insure while freeing valuable bed space and the vehicle’s hitch.
