A high level conference will feature presentations covering some of the most challenging demolition projects carried out around the world in recent months, including:

• William Sinclair will present a paper on the British contractor Safedem’s record-breaking demolition of the Meena Plaza in the United Arab Emirates.
• Joe Brinkmann, managing director of South African demolition specialist Jet Demolition – will describe in detail his company’s controlled implosion of the fire-damaged Bank of Lisbon building in Johannesburg.
• Holly Price, president of the United Kingdom’s National Federation of Demolition Contractors, and demolition industry veteran David Sinclair will each chair a session during the conference part of the summit.

Followed by an awards ceremony and gala dinner.
