MORRIS, MN — Superior Industries, Inc., a U.S. based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, plans to take full advantage of North America’s largest trade show with a display that includes more than two dozen new solutions for bulk processing and handling applications. At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017, the 45 year old company will showcase its solutions within a 20,000-square-foot booth inside the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Central Hall (booth No. C31955).
“Compared to the previous few editions of CONEXPO-CON/AGG, our booth space is almost four times the footprint and our display products will be markedly different to incorporate our new crushing, washing and screening solutions, in addition to some new updates to our conveying and components products,” says Jarrod Felton, president of Superior Industries.
“We extend the invitation to anyone in our industry who is interested in an opportunity for another choice for processing and handling solutions to come see what we have,” he says. “I think you will be excited by the equipment and impressed by the nature of the people that you talk to in our booth.”
Crushing and screening
Superior’s mega booth will include offerings from the manufacturer’s new crushing and screening lines. A Liberty™ Jaw Crusher, Patriot™ Cone Crusher and Valor™ Vertical Shaft Impactor (VSI) will be on display. In addition, Superior will show off their new Guardian™ Horizontal Screen, Anthem™ Inclined Screen and Intrepid™ Vibrating Grizzly Feeder (VGF). Additional crushing and screening solutions will be incorporated into portable plants like a closed circuit cone and mobile jaw crusher.
Washing and classifying
In 2014, Superior acquired the former GreyStone, Inc., rebranded the company and invested resources into improving the 50 year old product line and manufacturing facility in Columbus, NE. Integrated into a portable wash plant at the trade show, Superior will showcase its patented Aggredry® Dewatering Washer. The combination screw/screen removes clay, dirt and crusher dust from sand and produces an instantly saleable product with just eight percent moisture. In addition, the first ever Spirit™ Sand Plant is in manufacturing for erection in the booth. Including cyclones and dewatering screens, the quick to construct modular system is used in sand production and fines recovery applications.
Conveying and components
In 1972, Superior’s founder started designing and manufacturing portable conveying solutions for a regional customer base in Western Minnesota. Soon after, other aggregate producers noticed the uniquely designed mobile systems and Superior transitioned from a local supplier to the global market. At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017, the manufacturer will showcase the latest edition of its famed TeleStacker® Conveyor and RazerTail® Truck Unloader. Visitors to the booth will be able to interact with the latest version of automation connected to the telescopic radial stacker. In addition, more than 20 individual conveyor components solutions will be on display including brand new designs for idlers, pulleys and conveyor accessories.
Construction management
In addition to engineering and manufacturing, Superior added a brand new construction management service to its portfolio since the last show. Led by a seasoned team of industry veterans, who will be inside the booth to meet with visitors, the construction management team oversees engineering, manufacturing, project management and all related field services during planning and erection of stationary processing plants.
Aftermarket services
As Superior has aggressively added to its machinery offerings, its made a commitment to grow its employee base for service, support and parts replacement. Inside Superior’s booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Central Hall, more than 1,000-square-feet of space will be carved out to showcase capabilities related to customer phone support, warranties, repair, maintenance, inspection, rebuilds and plant optimization services. In addition, wears and spares from the parts department will be displayed so visitors can inspect quality up close.
