An official groundbreaking ceremony took place on Monday, May 8 for Monroe Tractors’ 11th new location located on Route 415 between the villages of Savona and Campbell in the Finger Lakes region of New York.
Janet Felosky, president and CEO, did the honors of the first shovelful accompanied by Monroe Tractor staff: AG General Manager, Chris Felosky, CE General Manager, Chuck Miller and Elmira Branch Manager, Kris Bower — who will take over manager duties at the new location. Assisting with the equipment tasks were Mike Austin of Austin Excavating and Mark Scoville from JRC Construction who is the building contractor for the project.
The new location will offer the same fine product lines for purchase or rental to the farming and construction community that Monroe Tractor is known for. It will also feature a well staffed full service and parts department.
The team is planning on a grand opening event sometime in late fall 2017.
