Mecalac adds 3 dealers to expanding North American network

Mecalac, a leading global designer, manufacturer and distributor of compact construction equipment for urban environments, welcomes three new North American dealers to its growing network.

The MWR series machines have a center of gravity that is 20% lower than competitive models while still maintaining a high ground clearance.

The new dealers both solidify Mecalac’s presence in the Northeast as well as expand the company’s reach across the Midwest. With these appointments, Mecalac’s dealer network now covers over 30 states across the continental United States and seven Canadian provinces to offer increased access and customer support for existing customers in the utility, construction, landscaping and recycling industries.

“Our expanding dealer network reflects our commitment to supporting customers with our innovative solutions throughout North America,” said Peter Bigwood, general manager for Mecalac North America. “We are meticulous in our selection of dealers to ensure each one shares our philosophy of providing customers with top-tier products and service.”

RJV Equipment will help with sales and service for contractors throughout middle and northeast Tennessee. Proudly serving Tennessee since 2010, this dealer sells and rents construction equipment and provides parts and service support for a variety of industries from locations in Knoxville and Nashville.

Helping connect Mecalac with contractors on Long Island and New York City is All Island Equipment. Located in West Babylon, New York, this family-owned business celebrates 54 years of experience providing contractors with quality construction equipment backed by an unsurpassed commitment to customer satisfaction.

One of the product lines Mecalac’s North American dealers offer is the MWR series. The wheeled excavators offer the flexibility and versatility of a skid steer or compact track loader in one machine and deliver higher speed and mobility than tracked excavators.

The EquipmentShare subsidiary Victor L. Phillips Company (VLP), located in Kansas City, Missouri, will expand Mecalac’s coverage in the Midwest with five locations throughout Kansas and northwest Missouri. Celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2011, the heavy equipment company specializes in offering equipment sales and service through a hands-on approach to customer satisfaction.

Mecalac continues to support dealers with the tools they need to provide outstanding service to customers who are searching for innovative solutions for their most challenging jobsites. Mecalac dealers carry the company’s three core product lines — the MCR Series of crawler skid excavators, the MWR Series of wheeled excavators, and the AS Series of swing loaders. Mecalac also offers the AX Series of articulated loaders, the TA range of site dumpers, the MCL Series of compact loaders, and a line of dedicated rail-road excavators.
