Larson Electronics LLC, a leading industrial lighting company, announced the release of a new red outdoor rated crane warning laser to be added to its catalog of products this week. This high visibility crane laser (LZRWL-IP-RED-200MW-1227) has been designed for overhead crane safety and to warn people in the area of ongoing crane operations.
This red outdoor crane warning laser comes equipped with a special optic located on the front that allows it to project a line of light instead of just a single dot. It is designed to be mounted on the arm of a crane and projects a 120, 60 or 30 degree angle line onto the floor of the work area where the crane is operating. These lasers are made very compact at only 7.4-inch diameter and 9-inches tall x 7.6-inches deep, making it ideal for applications where electrical power and mounting space are at a premium. They feature an adjustable U-bracket with a pre-drilled mounting thru-hole. This thru-hole mounting design allows operators to rotate the bracket after mounting to accommodate any required mounting angle.
These crane lasers are outdoor rated and carry an IP66 weatherproof rating. They are sealed against intrusion from dust and dirt and are constructed to withstand the most demanding environments, conditions and applications. The housing is constructed of rugged, industrial grade materials that are able to hold strong through heavy crane use. Similarly to forklift safety lights, this crane laser add an additional level of safety to the industrial environment by warning pedestrians of a crane’s movement when sound warning might not be enough.
“The last thing you will have to worry about while working are these lasers,”said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC.” These crane warning lasers have been built to withstand the most extreme of conditions, as well as, posses a 10,000 hour service life making them durable and extremely reliable.”
