MADISON, IN — Madison Chemical introduces AquaBlue, an alkaline detergent for removal of dirt, oil, grease, sulphurized cutting oils or metalworking fluids, and more from a wide variety of surfaces, including stainless. With superior penetrating and wetting properties, it is an excellent water-based cleaner and degreaser which is ideally suited for general purpose cleaning as well as challenging degreasing applications. AquaBlue™ has numerous applications including the cleaning of components during maintenance and repairs, floors, machinery, equipment, engines, and more, allowing a single cleaner/degreaser to replace specialty cleaning products, thus reducing inventory costs and streamlining the process.
It can be used as a spray, in foaming or gelling applications, as a soak, in ultrasonic tanks, and with pressure washers. With an application of 1-5 percent by volume, AquaBlue provides improved results on other leading degreasers with less concentration. Safe on ferrous, stainless, aluminum and zinc alloys, this versatile product reduces the negative effects of over-use and multiple cleanings.
AquaBlue is acceptable for use in food and beverage plants as an A1 general cleaning agent on all surfaces, or for use with steam or mechanical cleaning devices in all departments. The degreaser is also environmentally friendly and non-caustic with no SARA 313 reportables (including butyl cell or glycol ethers), zero V.O.C content and a health hazard rating of 1.
