Syracuse’s Hard Hat Expo continues to prepare for its 2024 event at the roughly two month-mark from its dates of March 20 and 21.
The annual event fills out the Exposition Center and a significant amount of space in the lot outside, utilized to showcase larger equipment and various equipment demonstrations. Show management is “thrilled” with the current vendor footprint, but looks forward to continuing growth.
The 36 year-running event draws attendance from New York and the surrounding states, drawing from the following categories of the construction industry: municipality superintendents & public works managers, heavy & highway construction/bridge building, excavation/earth moving, utility underground, road & highway maintenance (snow & ice), aggregates (sand & gravel), landscaping/hardscaping, paving (asphalt & concrete), corporate maintenance/groundskeeping, land clearing/logging and demolition.
The vendor list is a who’s who of some of the biggest names in the business: CNY Farm Supply, Stephenson Equipment, White’s Farm Supply – just a few of the many high-profile names registered for this year’s event. Several NYS entities will be represented: NYLICA, NYSDOT and others; some regional groups as well – Syracuse Builder’s Exchange and the NASRCC (North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters). Several long-term exhibitors are involved as sponsors this year: Clinton Tractor, JC Smith, Tracey Road Equipment, Auctions International, McCarthy Tire Service and Jutland Truck Bodies.
Though the show has always offered hospitality, a noted change is that lunch will be provided this year on the first day of the show for attendees & exhibitors, in partnership with exhibitor-sponsors of the show.
The expo’s management prides themselves on a pure attendee profile – these aren’t passive, non-industry attendees; the Hard Hat Expo attendee profile is an engaged industry professional and a serious customer, often those with purchasing power.
There is something at this event for anyone and everyone with ties to the industry.
Exhibiting space remains, though limited. If you or your organization are interested in exhibiting at the 2024 Hard Hat Expo, contact show sales manager Matt Stanley at mstanley@leepub.com. Visit www.hardhatexpo.com for more information.
