Responding to the wishes of its membership and Board of Directors, the C&D Recycling Association will go forward with its Annual Meeting, C&D World 2021, March 21-23 in Austin, TX, albeit by following and even going beyond all recommended CDC guidelines. Here is a link to all the safety steps the host hotel will be taking: https://vimeo.com/490854460. To accommodate those attendees not quite ready to travel, a virtual option will be offered to stream the event’s educational sessions.
C&D World, the only event focused on the C&D industry, has long been known as the gathering place for the industry because of the excellent networking opportunities. That will still happen, but for 2021 the exhibit hall will be spread out and any adjacent booths will not face each other. The separate single room used for sessions is large, allowing for maximum distance between participants. And throughout it all sanitary measures will include numerous hand cleansing stations, food and beverage dispensed in individual containers, and electrostatic germ cleaning equipment.
These added actions will in no way distract from the quality of the program, or the ability to see the latest goods and services available to the industry in the exhibit hall. An economic forecast in the time of COVID is planned, as well as end markets discussions, working to get government grants, and other useful sessions.
Registration to C&D World is now open, and there are still spots available in the exhibit hall, as well as sponsorship opportunities. For information on those, or anything else connected with C&D World 2021, please contact William Turley at firstname.lastname@example.org; 630-258-9047.
