SEWICKLEY, PA — Atlas Marketing, the marketing agency that tells stories for companies who build things, recently announced the appointment of Chris Martin, president, to the Associated General Contractors (AGC) Business Development Forum.
“I am honored to be selected to join this national committee consisting of construction industry leaders and business development and marketing experts,” said Martin. “As a member of the committee, there are opportunities to share best practices and lead the construction industry in better telling the story of those contractors, suppliers and workers who are vital to our country’s economy.”
The AGC Business Development Forum is a group of AGC members who advise the industry of new market opportunities, follow and report on trends in the construction market, and counsel members on the techniques and tools of marketing and business development.
“We are excited to have Chris join us. His experience and industry knowledge will help us improve upon our mission, which is to advance the business development and marketing aspects of our industry,” said Tamara Savinas, Business Development Forum chairperson and marketing director, Spire Consulting Group, LLC.
In addition to being named a forum member, Martin is slated to present at the upcoming AGC 100th Annual Convention. His presentation will focus on the value marketing communications provides contractors and will include insight from his 25-year career of telling stories for the construction industry. For more than 100 years, the AGC Annual Convention has been the event successful contractors around the country count on for practical knowledge and industry-leading information to guide business decisions, improve operations and shape the industry.
